We meet together at 10am every Sunday. A standard service will include a mix of songs and hymns, as well as a sermon for the adults. Children usually join in for the first 20 minutes before going to their own groups. We often hold All-Age services, where we all join together for an interactive learning and worship time.
Except for our All-Age services, children's groups run each week for children aged 2-11. We also always have a creche on-site for younger children, with baby changing facilities available. New children and families are always welcome!
i've never been to church... will i be asked to do anything?
First of all - we're pleased you're thinking of joining us! We know it can be strange to come to church for the first time, and we want to make sure you're comfortable. To answer your question, the answer is no. You won't be asked to pray or read the Bible, and you're welcome to join in with us as we sing or just listen. You'll be given a Service Outline when you arrive, which will guide you through the service so you know what's coming next.
Some weeks we have Holy Communion together, where we use bread and wine to remember Jesus' death for us. You are welcome to receive the bread and wine if you are a baptised Christian from any church, but you can stay seated if you prefer, or approach the front to receive a quiet prayer of blessing instead. If you have any questions or concerns, let us know when you arrive, and we'll do all we can to help.
We have a private car park attached to the church (with entrances on Trinity Vicarage Road and Marchant Road), including some disabled spaces. Alternatively, there is a pay and display car park on Trinity Vicarage Road just before you reach us, which is free on Sundays.
If you're using Sat Nav, then it's probably best to use the postcode for Trinity Vicarage Road (LE10 0BU), which is the road the church is on - just stop when you get to the car park or church!
